Going Digital, Sounding Great
Looking to etch a voice in your memory for eternity? Digital voice recorders do just that and more. Earlier the domain of secretaries and outside the perimeters of a layman's affordability, analogue recorders were used before the advent of most digital equipment and had many limitations which have been blurred since the advent of digital recorders. Their use is no longer restricted to secretaries but in fact their consumer market varies from students looking to record lectures to applications in legal and medical contexts, and more recently, for use by abuse victims, amnesics and sufferers of dyslexia.
