Upscale apartments rise at prime Uptown location

These artist’s renderings show what just started going up at at the northeast corner of Hidalgo and McCue. The high-end apartment complex with 322 one- and two-bedroom units will open in November 2013. The seven-story property will overlook Gerald D. Hines Waterwall Park and share its name. WaterWall Place is a joint venture between Hines and the Hines Global REIT. Wallace Garcia Wilson and Jackson Ryan worked on the cast stone and rose-colored brick design.
