Sterling outlook: What next for the pound?
In 2012, the pound has made gains against the single currency as the eurozone debt crisis re-erupted, and its exchange rate with the dollar was until recently on an upward trend too. But the euro crisis is a double-edged sword for sterling and it could till be hit by more quantitative easing.
