Sneak Peek Week kicked off strong with Kristen Stewart and Sam Claflin bringing you an exclusive look at "Snow White and the Huntsman" on Tuesday. On Wednesday, the cast of "That's My Boy," including Andy Samberg, Will Forte and Vanilla Ice, kept everyone laughing with a sneak peek at their R-rated comedy. And the first looks continue as Channing Tatum hits Universal's CityWalk to bring us "Magic Mike" on Thursday (May 31).
The film is loosely based on Tatum's time as a stripper. He plays an exotic dancer named Mike who takes newbie performer the Kid (Alex Pettyfer) under his wing to teach him the ways of partying, women and money. Watch as Tatum reveals it all live on MTV at 11 p.m. ET, and log on to MTV.com immediately after to catch a Q&A with the actor. Internet Content Delivery Pricing Finally Leveling off as Demand Soars
The costs for content delivery network services (CDN), which have been in steep decline since 2009, have finally leveled off says Dan Rayburn, an industry analyst with Frost & Sullivan and EVP of StreamingMedia.comCiting his survey of 800 companies who buy CDN services, he says pricing this year will be down just 15-20% while demand will grow by about 60%. For the bigger customers, those who pay more that a $1 million annually, their bandwidth needs will soar 125% this year. It all adds up for a good year for the CDN providers like Akamai and Limelight, he says in this interview with Beet.TVRayburn predicts more consolidation in the field along with the growing presence of Amazon which announced on Monday its site acceleration platform.We spoke with him today at the Streaming Media East conference in Manhattan.Andy Plesser
